Bill, just put your sun glasses on, put a short leash on the dog and walk slowly in the resturant. ;) Be sure to let them read the menu to you. ;D

I'll wear my stevie wonder glasses 8)

It's the national park / battlefield I'll probaley have the trouble with.

She'll wait while I'm in a resturant as she knows a white box is coming her way but I tend to spend a lot of time at battlefields.

I don't think the Park service allows cute little dogs.

This is really getting on my nerves.

I paid $4.40 for regular this morning (at the first place I found that had gas).  I refused to fill up at that price, and I don't like running 87 octane stuff in my car anyway.

Sounds like politicians are trying to buy some votes up there, eh?

It is supplied direct via a pipeline, and the pipeline has been a little dry.  The word is that Hurricane Ike has slowed production  :) :) :) :).

"Why is there a shortage of gas in Georgia?" because General Shurman on is way to the coast cut the pipe line to Georgia.  No, that is not correct. It was Ike that stopped the pumps that sent the gas from Texas to Georgia in the underground pipeline.

Sherman and Ike, what a pair.  Sherman said "War is Hell".  Ike didn't say much, just kicked butt and intimated that weather is Hell.

According to what I read in the news late last week, all the refineries are back up and running already. I'd be surprised if people are still having difficulty finding gasoline in Atlanta this week.

Crude goes up a little bit per barrel, The price at the pumps skyrocket.
Crude goes back down, yesterday $97 barrel. Price at the pump drops pennies if at all.

That's just a "training" session so we don't get used to lower prices.  They want to keep us thinking that   $4 isn't too bad.

It's still hard to find gas in some areas of North Georgia this week, and 4 dollars a gal. will never be "okay" in my book. Looks like it's time to get paw paw to refresh my memory on moonsh..uh.. I mean Ethanol making.
