can you help with recc bar length for 066 magnum ,run 30
in bar at present how does the magnum go on bigger bars ???

I only use a 28"and 24"bar on my 066.
By squaring the log into a cant it reduces the length of bar required to rip the lumber from the cant.
The hardness of the wood and the size of cut will affect the saws power capacity.

My "BIG BAR" is a 32".  I use it with full comp chain, 8 drive link rim.   According to Stihl, Max Recommended is 36.
