To all e-classic burners,I to have bad news to report on the Fusion combustor. As posted before I saw a rupture in the Fusion combustor inside the reaction chamber. After looking closer therer is also one inside the fire box below the rods. My dealer called CB and talked to Bob Lewis and told him what he was looking at. Bob told my dealer that the Fusion combustor was a serviceable item. He said they would send a new one out but labor would not be covered. My dealer said he would cover that. If you have a older model like mine built in Nov. of 08 the Fusion combustor comes out through the reaction chamber, on the newer ones it comes out through the fire box. CB clearly has a design defect here. I've only burned 10 cords of wood in this thing. Take a close look inside your units guys. As of now mine is keeping up with temp (but it's 45 out) don't know what would happen if it was -20. I think we all need to put the heat on CB to get this problem part of their warranty and find a fix so you don't have to put one in every 10 cords. Good Luck,Hackberry
Hackberry - are you saying that the 1/2 moon shaped piece that is made out of refractory cement cracked???
