Greenhouse heat source

Just a question from a feeble mind. If a person took a coil of black plastic pipe and burried it in a large mound of sawdust, could enough heat be extracted from the sawdust to partially heat a greenhouse? What brings this to mind is one mill here saves some of their sawdust every winter to bury frozen logs in, the next day they thawed, they do this on a daily cycle.
