Custom Milling Section
« on: May 26, 2003, 12:20:45 pm »
I looked with interest at the find-a-mill section today.  That looks like a good idea.

Would there be enough interest to have an area for custom milling?  We do special order custom milling including flooring, moulding etc. to help utilize all the antique wood from the buildings we dismantle.

I guess we'll see what kind of response there is.

Sure, I thought about that and I can add it. Do you mean as one of the check box options? Or somehow else. Let me know what we need.

I was actually thinking of it as a check box option.  Didn't know what other options there might be.

would planing/moulding be appropriate?

Jeff, it might be time to coin a term like "Shop Milling" as opposed to "Saw MIlling".  If you list operations you could go on forever. :)

O.K., how about a seperate table for special milling then. Include those things, check boxes for planing, one for molding and one for flooring. anything else?

The seperate table will not show up unless someone selects the special milling option?
