As much as I detest the DOT cops around here, deep down I know that they are there to try and protect everyone from people like this.
I don't fall under any of the above other than the 13'6" height limit.signage on building/vehicle needed over 8' wide as well as permit.No escort, light bars and such until you are over 12' wide.No permits issued for anything over 13'6" or over 14' wide (overhangs not included) based on what I read on the state site, yet I see loads larger than that in MI several times a year.

All in all it really went MUCH better than I had planned considering I did the entire thing alone.

Stopped in today where the electric mill is set up to find a trailer load of logs. Had to chuckle to myself. I didn't ask what the deal was, I just hope noone lost their head. Dave
