A Greenwood furnace stores heat in unburned wood and the ceramic refractory, the water is only used to transfer the heat to your house.
The stove burns at 2000 deg. and your exhaust is 200 deg. Talk about heat transfer.
I heard from a friend here in Ohio that the EPA was "outlawing" outside furnaces ?? Is there an issue, even potentially?
