Makita 3803A groove cutter
« on: January 29, 2008, 05:03:36 pm »
Hi Folks,
I thank all of you for your comments and advice about cutting the grooves in my house project. I'm still considering the purchase of a Makita Groove Cutter and hope there is someone who owns one or has used this machine enough to comment on it's merits and faults in grooving logs and timbers. I'm also concerned about the  availability of different width blades and whether any other sort of cutter blade would work on it beside those ordered from Makita. If there are any present or former 3803A users out there, I'd sure appreciate your input.
Sincerely,
John Stenger
