:D :D    Only a picture will be convincing.

Where is it you are from? Perhaps someone nearby could come and see.

it's in michigan

it will cut 3 12 inch diameter 80 foot trees in minutes

it has a 5 foot blade direct drive next time i go to the wood lot where it is sitting i will take a video of it making wood it is powered with a 453 detroit and alot of people come by to see it work it is really cool

the cycle time to bring the trees in and cut off and bring the next part of the tree in is 3.5 seconds if i had a thicker blade or carbide inserts i could get it down under 3 seconds but i had to install a flow control valve to slow the cylinder that moves blade in. it has a apprentice type loader on top of it.

a guy was bringing me 80 foot long 12 inch ash trees three at a time and then going to get more 4 hundred yards a way with a franklin skidder and he was pulling them out of a orginized (butt ends aligned) pile then cutting tops off and was maintaining not getting a head and I wasn't falling behind we had fire wood every where it took us two weeks to split it all-- it was funny

I originally told this guy I wanted to get 20 bucks a face cord to come and cut up his trees for him and he said heck yeah it cost me that much to pay two guys and they are falling all over them selves and then the logs are on the ground. after 5 minutes he said we better negociate another deal we settled on 300  hundred a working hour

Where in Michigan? I'd like to see some pictures of this great machine.

I'd like to see those 12 inch diameter, 80 foot Ash trees. Just imagine how they big they would have been when full grown.

we are cutting the trees down in the thumb these paticular trees are next to the river there is also a white oak tree that didn't get burned in the fire of 1883 or 1887 what ever year it was and this tree is 6 plus foot in diameter really kool also

the ash trees don't have a branch on most of them until 60 foot

still need a splitter or plans on building one to keep up --------  anyone???

i put a deposit on one today and even know this super split is kool they still have to touch th el ogs the one i am getting you never touch the log

i am also going to make a video of my saw in action at real time i know some of these videos are sped up i have a digital camera and prolly yet this week i will make it and post it on here
then when i am done with my double action splitter which by the way has 200 ton capacity on one side and 150 on the other side the 150 side is called splitz most and the other is splitz all the double cylinders on the 200 ton side are 12 inch with a 5 inch ram 5 foot stroke and the other is a 14 inch 6 inch ram 36 inch stroke

it is run by a cummings out of a truck and a 120 gpm pump 1 1/2 lines to most everything and  2 inch lines to the single cylinder the control valve weighs 350 lbs this is a kool piece of equiptment my buddy wants me to put it on the internet to show everybody what can be built with a little imagination i was like nah sounds like bragging and i don't brag just stating numbers as you can tell i took the entire running gear out of a 45 ton loader and made a splitter with it

C'mon, you guys. Give him a chance to get some pictures up before you offend him. I love to see stuff put together with spare parts and imagination. Those are some big numbers for sure, so picures would be awesome, I want to see this unit devour wood.
I just want to run my mill
