Rob,I probibly mentioned it before but its good form to have plywood on the guard doors  in front of the band.Sometimes a band will come off the wheels, especially if you try to back out of a log. That ply will save the teeth,in fact the doors could be just 3/4 plywood hinged to make band changes easier. If you are refering to the bandwheels, they are solid steel flat surfaced with a 1/8" x 2" urethane tire, they are 37" diameter.
Been doing so much with so little for so long I can now do anything with nothing, except help from y'all!
By the way rbarshaw is short for Robert Barshaw.
My Second Mill Is Shopbuilt 64HP,37" wheels, still a work in progress.

the size of the engine pulley and the shaft pulley also whats the rpm you will be cutting at? have you cut with the new saw yet?also on the old saw did you turn the tires flat where the blade rides on and any issues with running them .as i will be running 1 24"tire and 1-24" cast iron wheel

engine is 64HP, engine pulley is about 3.5", 14" driven pulley, 1800 to 2100 rpm at engine, have not cut yet, everything is on hold due to the heat and lack of funds.

The old mill I cut the tires round with a crown with an old file that I ground a cutting edge on its end and used it like a lathe tool while spinning the tire. No issues with inflatable tires as long as you maintain the pressure in them the same, if it goes low over the season the blade tracking is affected.
