 ::)Hmm, I use protective trousers 99.999% of the time, unless I am just starting a saw to check something out, like carb adjustment.

That is when it  happened to me, checking saws out too. :}
You just never know when it will happen.

The easy to start is great on weed trimmers, not so good on saws. If you can't start a saw, you can't safely operate it. It's a great marketing tool for Stihl though.
