This little tree is about 30 feet up the bank of the future pond.









The reverse crotch is about 10 feet off the ground. I'd like to see this tree after 30 years more growth.

Tupelos are not very regular fruit-producers, in my experience.  You might go 4 or 5 years before you have a bumper crop, and all the trees will be full of drupes.  If they do produce fruit this year, they should already be on the trees.
