Me thinks the camera is stuck too, or they are having a loooong prayer session.
In the meantime, I'll pray for them and hope they have a real good time.  ;D ;D

Well, it sure sounds like everyone's having a ball!!!

For those who don't know, because I'm so DanG far away, da Boss lets me ring in to the Piggy Roast, and visit with everyone that way!

So, I rang in at 10am and 5pm (Roast time) and got passed around to most everyone there, had a GREAT time visiting with them all.

I hope I didn't miss anyone that was there, but if I did, sorry. Thanks to everyone who chatted with me!

Have a couple of things to report...

Firstly (and most importantly) I can report that some of Puhskolly's bikkies DID in fact make it to the roast!

Secondly: The bikkies are, pretty DanG good! And that's according to DanG! (and others!) They were variously described as: Yum  :-*, Fantastic  ;) , Minty :) and Gone  ::)

And Thirdly: The Webcam is not working anymore. It's closed down. The photo of everyone's butt's is an inadvertent end shot ;)

They got lots of people onto the dunking board. Da Boss went on! and the mini-stumpies went on too, I don't think they needed much encouragement, though ;)

Stumpy's Dad won the Logrite Arch that was a Door prize, and aparrently (d'oh) he's THRILLED! Also, I'm very sad I wasn't there, coz, apparently it was a PINK ARCH! I'm looking forward to photos of it, though.

Oh, and, there's still some piggy left. Someone told me there's enough pig there to feed Da Boss and Bossette for the next month, but, I know how the piggy roast works. There will be a whole parcel of people there again tomorrow, so, I suspect there won't be a whole lot of pig left after the end of the weekend!!!

Had a BALL, I really wish I could have been there in person. You know if I EVER make it to the US of A, I'll be absolutely SURE to be in Michigan on the first weekend in August!!!

Well, since I couldn't be there in person, I decided to have my own pig roast of sorts out here in California, and so I headed up to the Henry Cowell State Park to walk amongst the redwoods.

It was late in the day, and the sun was filtering through the trees with that great light you only see in the late afternoon.  Pretty fun hike.  The bottom picture shows an albino redwood forming--it gets it's chlorophyll from the root system of the bigger tree behind it.  Pretty cool stuff!

I ended my day up the road with a shredded pork taco at a local Mexican place...the closest I could get to the pig roast today.

Wish I was there!

Thanks a lot Jeff!  smiley_furious3
You have made me the butt of everyone's joke!  laugh_at smiley_headscratch

Well at least you got the best side of me I guess.  smiley_huh2
Had a great time it was really nice seeing some people again and getting to meet new friends.  smiley_clapping
Sorry Asy Carrie and everyone I told Part-Timer on the way up we should make flash cards to stick in front of the web cam so that you all know what was going on. But we really did not have time to stick them in we were all to busy chating  smiley_gossip and eating  digin_2. You would just have to be there to understand.
Can't what till next year better get that counter going again Jeff.  pc_smiley
Goodnight...

OK OK I was a lot more tired then I thought!
The Web Cam was stopped while we were watching the show and they were complaining about just seeing peoples behinds. So I was "the butt of the picture" not "the butt of the joke"  :D :D
