Massive Oak in Neighbors Yard - Need Arborist
« on: July 04, 2007, 10:31:23 pm »
Does anyone know a good honest arborist in the Dearborn (Detroit) Michigan area.  My neighbor has one of ,if not the biggest tree in Dearborn in his front yard.  The tree is an oak (havn't looked to see if it is a red or white oak) and must be 125 to 150 years old.  This thing is at least 120' tall and has at least a 50' to 60'' spread.  He is concerned that the tree has a lot of suckers starting about 15' up the trunk.  He wants to make sure the tree is healthy and have any preventative maintenance done on the tree.

Any help would be appreciated.  The "find a forester" link only shows one hit and doesn't say if he is a certified arborist or not.

Thanks

Tim
