066 started better than the 036!
« on: March 30, 2003, 06:11:27 pm »
Just started my saws for the first time in almost 6 months!  The 066 started coughing after 5 pulls, started after the 7th or 8th pull.  The 036PRO took at least a dozen pulls before starting.  kind of puzzled that the 066 started much easier. ??? :-/  Usually it takes 12 pulls to ge tthe 066 started or more if I choke it too much.

Going to try the .030" depth on the 066 on 4/5, provided the weather holds up.

JB;
What chain are you using on the 066?

Just regulat Stihl chain, probably full-chisel.  Not sure but I will try to get the numbers off the chain tomorrow when the chains get back from sharpening.
