Dan. Come on over. We laid the keel today. We could use help standing up the ribs and attaching the planking.

Kevjay, when are you going to start collecting the animals? Rained every day week here. Usually in the afternoon, on the bright side of things, air conditioner electric should be cheaper than normal.

They been here for an hour. If you were to call me on my shop phone right now I couldn't have a conversation with you, even if I could hear the phone ring, and my roof is insulated. It sounds like a low bypass jet engine at full throttle. this one didn't move in it formed right over top of me.

RAIN RAIN GO AWAY!

This swampy bog is where I used to cut wood.  I live on a sandy hill on top of shallow clay. It drains and dries fast except in low spots. this was dry enough to move logs and cut wood an hour and a half ago.

TR this picture is on north Lake Bonham where my sawmill is. We live in far north Fannin County almost on the river. If the rain ever quits I might be able to finish the house and we can live here in the swamp. I am fixin to go to Lake Winnsboro prolly in a day or two. If I can swing it I might as well come on down there and see your operation I ain't got nothing else to do. How far you from Winnsboro?

Some of the rain from Texas has finally found it's way to West Virginia and we are glad to see it  :)  We are on the verge of a draught here and my newly planted pines are smiling now since the rains arrived last evening. Our friends using our house in Texas City are a little grumpy tho'.  Hey, the fish bite rain or not and the rain may just bring the bayou up to ankle deep on the pier, which makes the big reds easy to land.  Just let em swim right into the net.  :D
