I showed this to my wife, Patti. She agrees that you are the nicest group of people on earth. And a thread that is 7 years and 3 months old with 1503 replies proves it.

Den, I was out of town and missed this. Our prayers are with you and your dad.

A report on my niece, she had a good bit of sickness with her first treatment, but she got good news this week. Her bone marrow is good.

Thank you all for your prayers but we are in trouble again. On Wednesday of last week we were heading back to Phoenix. Dad keeps saying that he doesn't want anything but to join mom. We were at the terminal at Dulles. We had less than a half hour before boarding. Patti's phone rang. It was her sister who is a nurse. She said that Patti's mom had a heart attack and could die. The airline was very nice. They found our baggage on the plane and got it back to us. We headed to this hospital where we have been ever since. Her mother is still in intensive care connected to life support. Her dad (husband of 60 years) is a big guy who used to work in the steel mills. It's terrible to watch him being crushed. The only good thing was that we got word before getting on the plane. Patti would have gone nuts if we had to get off one plane and then catch another back to PA. Boy the last couple weeks have been in the pits.
