......  it is .3 less then a ms460 but it has more torque.   ....

.3 less kW (.4 hp), yes - but more torque  ::), I want to see proof, before I believe that..... ???

The Husky 575xp has no more max torque than the 372xp, so for now I believe the torque of the 441 is closer to the 440 than to the 460 (just speculation though, waiting for proof from KWF/DLG dyno tests).

I watched many pro saw racers just shake their heads at the stock saw competition running the 441 in a 8x8 piece of poplar for 3 cuts. They couldn't believe how you had to let the saw ride in the cut and couldn't put the least bit of pressure in the cut or they would bog it.  It wasn't till the last 8-10 or so people did they start whispering to friends don't push and don't lean at all on the 441 in the cut. I just laughed to my self because i knew they speak the truth of what i had noticed. The times got faster and the bogging in the cut stopped after that.  Just glad I wasn't fooled and blinded by all the hype and try it before you buy it comes into play here.

that was the first time i used a 441 ( tried ) we were cutting a 8x8 piece of white pine for the stock saw comp.i will admit, it was for only 7.2sec  :D but that is what sparked me to look into it to get one for everyday use. a buddy got one , i used it and then my wheeles started spinning. ;D

this past week i cut another 2100 ft of wht pine ,  ( i know not much, just a little side job i did with my farm tractor. ) still love the saw, with this new saw, i started running that new stihl hp ultra full syn oil. i have had great luck with running full syn in my sleds the last few years , now i will try my luck with the saws.

I have no real interest in the 441, it's to heavy it has lackluster power and it looks like a copy of my 372xp. I'd much rather have an ms460. My dealer sells the 441 for $736.00 with a 24" Bar.

I like the Dolmar 7900, for $650.00 you can't beat it, and in stock form it has 6.3hp 4.5kw and a weight of about 14lbs dry, + It has a very flat torque band, so you can lean on the saw more than you can with any other saw in it's class.
