 Got a local woman to make some Cheese with finely chopped Chile Peppers in it.

  Glad to hear you where able to convince someone on the making of good cheese .
    Ones that like cheese are Happy here , me being one of them . Québec has a great cheese industry , we have lots to choose from ,some for every pallet . Not hard to find a good cheese here .  :)

Wisconsin does have great cheese. One place I love to stop on my way home from Soldiers Grove, is in Fontenelle WI. The cheese house has a giant mouse out front,and inside is the best cheese around!  Makes me hungry just thinking about it. mmmmmm, cheese!  ;D

AAaahh, good cheese.  I love it. I would tell you what the best cheese is, but I don't want to hijack the thread.  No it doesn't have anything to do with grits. :D
