LT40HD Snowmizer Heads South
« on: February 13, 2007, 11:39:23 pm »
Here's what Furby and stump_jumper are doing. Before they left they coated my mill with a new high-tech protectant to keep the  paint from getting chipped by all the road salt.

They are camped out somewhere south of Indianapolis right now. Bet they are having a hard time roasting franks and marshmellows with all the wind, whattya bet ???

You are going to want to wash off that salt/ice  real quick before it starts to corrode the wiring and every thing else.

Yep, somebody is pullin yer leg a little. Thats my slushmizer, And I can guarantee ya its covered with a big winter blanket of TARP, and dont look like that anymore, and more importantly its still HERE. Kevjays mill is coming from a different member from what my understanding is, but I aint heard anything from him other then I see a sold on his add in the 4 sale section.

Dont worry Kevjay, if yer mill gets a coating as mine got  coming across the continental divide and it didnt bother it a bit. :)

If they are holed up in Indy, they are not going to enjoy the trip across Illinois. The 12" of snow was not so bad, it was the 45 mph winds that did us in. I talked to a guy last night who was busting 7' drifts with and endloader to get home. The road crews just gave up at noon yesterday, they will try again today.

They said they were gonna bypass Illinoiz and go to Tennessee and hang a right. I'll call 'em in a while and see if they can see.  ::)

go to Tennessee and hang a right.

Sounds like a good plan. I am thinking about going to Tennessee...and just keep heading south.  ::) That is after I get my "heading south" vehicle dug out.

I talked to 'em a few hours ago. They said they were makin alot better time than yesterday. I told 'em you were really catchin it and they said "Yeah we aren't that fa`east of Daren we better put the hammer down.".

I told Furby his joke was funny and that I was "...planning something particuraly evil and nasty for revenge . . . " He just busted up laughing. He actually knew I was horsing around. Go figure.

This is the REAL mill pic from this morning. ;D
Most everything that is on the mill was picked up on our short jog down 465.
The mill is currently 99% free of snow/slush. ;D

Who was it that said the South was warm ???

Must be a misprint or typo... The mill is currently 99% free of snow/slush.
Should read The mill is curently 99% covered of free snow/slush ;D

I think I mentioned something about it, back in August. :-[

Now remember my son is in with those 2 as well so he will need a different dinner as he as cannot be guilty  of association.  He is my little angel. ;D

When I talked to them last night they were going to stop and stay near Little Rock, Arkansas.

Furby
What no pics of my truck or did you really have to buff out the marks in the paint and haven't done it yet.  ;) :o

That mill was a bright orange color when it left my yard!!!!! 8)

I talked to Furby last night and he said they had just stopped at McDonald's to eat and relax.... I couldn't hear him over the little kidz screaming in the background. I'ze thinkin' it was Stump_Jumper and Jr. while Furby was driving  :D

KevJay - I left ya a voicemail when I got in the other night. The nights have been long here so ya might a been asleep. I am on the 24 hour clock this week  :( Just stopped for an early lunch so I can go at it again. The 4 ft drifts have slowed us a bit.  ;D

Boss - The checks almost in the mail. The CFO has to handle the PayPal thingee. I'm somewhat challenged  ;)
