In boy scouts, there is a sawdust burner, that scouts are taught to make.
1 gal paint can.
Hole in bottom, 1" dia.
Broom stick.
Stick broom stick in hole, and out of the top of can.
Stuff DRY sawdust into the can, REAL TIGHT. Full.
Carefully remove the broom stick.
Place a piece of paper in the hole on the bottom, and light.
It lights the sawdust, and smolders with little or no smoke.
Now, how about a 55 gal drum full....
Anybody doing this?
To heat your drying barn.
