Yep, made it home last night. Up early this morning looking and learning. This mill sure is different than the manual mill I been using the last 6 years. I managed to toast 2 blades this morning messing with the feed rate. Severely out ran them and shoved them right off the back >:( >:( >:(. I think I got it down now. Part of the problem was dull blades. I put on a sharp one and now it sings. I got two more logs to play with at home right now. Should be enough to get it all sorted out. The power up and down will take me a little getting used to but I recon I'm gonna like it. I'm pretty sure if I can operate a $25MM drilling rig ai can suely get the hang of this.
Lindy already has me set up with a custom job and I went to see Arky this afternoon. He knows about three more people needing custom work. Sounds like I'm gonna be busy already. That just breaks my heart.
I'll try the picture thing again. I never have been succesful at it. Maybe can do better with my new camera. LeeB
