I was just thinkin today, that, your getting close to being home.

Will you be home permanently ??  :)

No Harold, just my regular scheduled days off. My work shedule is 28/28. I have to eat 4 days travel time out of my 28. It's really not a bad schedule once you get used to it. I guess I'll get used to some day :D. Actually I've been working this kind of schedule for years. I really get more time at home than the 9 to 5 folks. LeeB

You would think I would have plenty of time but there never seems to be enough. Honey do list gets mighty long in 28 days. LeeB

Man do I know what you mean. I've been getting and average of 4 - 5 hours a night lately. I used to sit around about an hour each morning and take my coffee watching the dang TV. Many years ago when I had a real job I would wake an hour ealier than what i needed, just so I could have this time in the morning. I love it.  Now I take my coffee while typing and reading.  :)
I know it's an hour I could put to productivity, but I am being productive! Heck I visit the forums and do my ebay stuff all at once.  :)

Can you remember when you were a kid and you'd hear your parents and other grown ups talk about time. My dad always said "Awd rather have one more arr in thu day thanna hunert dolla bill ."
Now I know what he was talking about! And back then when you had a "hunert" dollars you had something!

Can't wait til you get back and get hacking away at that honey-do list Lee! Godspeed!!! 8) 8) 8)
The oil is all in Texas, but the dipsticks are in D.C.

She does it because she is good to me. She isn't able to work any more and some times she gets to feeling she's lettting me down somehow, so she tries to make me feel shes doing her part. Besides that the mill all plays in with the honey do list. Barn, master bed room addition, various assorted furniture, ect, ect. On top of all that she knows cutting wood is a passion for me. LeeB

Leweee,
I don't recon getting her to tail is gonna happen. She doesn't want any part of that. Not too sure she could do it anyway.

Mike,
Yep I'm on a rig. Working off the coast of Egypt in the Mediteranian.

Yep, made it home last night. Up early this morning looking and learning. This mill sure is different than the manual mill I been using the last 6 years. I managed to toast 2 blades this morning messing with the feed rate. Severely out ran them and shoved them right off the back >:( >:( >:(. I think I got it down now. Part of the problem was dull blades. I put on a sharp one and now it sings. I got two more logs to play with at home right now. Should be enough to get it all sorted out. The power up and down will take me a little getting used to but I recon I'm gonna like it. I'm pretty sure if I can operate a $25MM drilling rig ai can suely get the hang of this.
Lindy already has me set up with a custom job and I went to see Arky this afternoon. He knows about three more people needing custom work. Sounds like I'm gonna be busy already. That just breaks my heart.
I'll try the picture thing again. I never have been succesful at it. Maybe can do better with my new camera. LeeB
