Anybody out there Know how to build a (Big Stick) loader? They used to be all around when the pulp co's.bought shortwood,and alot of guys built their own.I want one to load treeservice logs,and also logs from three landfills.Need the reach as I cant get trailer to some of them Any info would be appreciated.

   That's it ,exactly,only set up for logs,THANKS...
I knew a lot of guys like that when I used to buy logs & blocks for a veneer co. A special kind of men, not many left.A lot of times those guys kept that mill in logs,yet they were always the first to be cut off ,it wasn't fair then, and it still aint.

I agree.  A lot of young men were put through college on short-wood and a hard working Daddy.  Since the mills have cut off the short wooder, Urban wood is ending up in the land-fill.
