Anyone have positive or negative experience with Montezuma Cypress?

I tried growing Baldy Cypress in a rather warm area of California, and ended up with a very large mortality rate.

On paper at least, the Montezuma looks more adapted for drier and warmer climates.

2nd question: where can I find seedlings?

Thanks.

They grow very well on stream banks in the dryer parts of Texas, where to get seedlings, I have no idea.  They are a fantastic tree to float under doing some of the streams, big ol trees that can humble a fella.
