Solved : St. John's Wort

Just for somthing to do try to find out what this is.  I don't know either......yet.

It's a small plant about 8"-10" high. The flower is about the size of a quarter.  Picture taken today in NE Florida on the side of a dirt road and on the edge of a Hardwood swamp at about 9 ft above sea level.  The ground is 2" of sand on top of blue gumbo clay. :-/

leaves are smooth edged, lighter green on bottom, no hairs, lancelet(?) and opposed on a single and ocassionaly split woody stem.
