contractor's forum, is there one?

I'm new to this site. does anybody know if there is a forum or any organization for private forestry contractors, people who do forest inventory etc? Thanks.

I think this is about as close as it gets.  Forest contractors are a pretty limited bunch, so it would be hard to maintain interest for a very long period of time.  Check out the logging and forestry area of this forum.  It will probably suit your needs.

Here in New Brunswick we have a live forum called the Woodlands Forum, but usually comprises folks working for industrial forestry. Contractors on private forest lands meet at annual meetings held by local marketing boards. These types of forums have no internet forum. I've seen some started, but they aren't maintained or promoted too heavily and membership is low.

Pre-commercial thinning pays off. :)
