Woodbeard got it. Sure looks like Basswood to me.  A favorite of honeybees and honey sellers. I've eaten a lot of basswood honey in my time.  Delicious.

Also, as you probably know, a favorite with woodworkers.  Soft , light, easily worked stable wood.
