Charles Garrett

I have a Garrett Metal detector and get a little paper from them every once in a while.  The last one has an article about the founder of the company, Charles, and his wife, Eleanor, of Garland, Texas and their being named 2002 Outstanding Tree Farmers for Texas.  They own many acres in Trinity and Houston counties and belong to the TexasTree Farm Association, relying heavily on the Texas Forest Service for Management of the properties.

It is a very complimentary article.

It states that they work heavily with Tom Crater of the Professional Forester's Group.  Do you know him, Don?

Yep, know him well.  Trinity county sits on our north county line.  Tom and I "grew up" together in the Texas Forest Service.  I think he left a little ahead of me.  Tom is one of the consultants that gets the job done.
