You're almost there.  :D

go to your gallery and click on the picture, then click on the verbage below it that says "click to copy insertion code".
The code will highlight blue when it is put on your clip-board.  don't mess with the code.

Then go to your post, right click in the update window and Paste

Thanks Tom, but I'm still having trouble. I put the photo into --Photos MUST be in the Forestry Forum gallery!!!!!-- then cropped it down to size (350/350) and put it into my FF album. When I click on the line under the photo as you suggest, it turns red but nothing happens. If I right click on it, it doesn't offer a copy option.  I read your instructions but I'm missing something somewhere.

when you click it and "nothing happens" (turns red), it is actually placing the code for that picture in your cache.

when you then go to the message where you want to post the picture and right click and choose "paste", the code for the picture you selected in your album is pasted into your message - complete with the necessary html coding to make it show up in a post.

What you're missing is the img tags on the front and end of the url. I use firefox for a browser and find I manually have to highlight the code with my cursor and then hit the control c together to copy it. Then I go back to the posting window and manually hit control v within it to insert it in the post. It will look like this within your post before you hit the post button

[img]http://www.forestryforum.com/gallery/albums/userpics/11664/IMG_0420.jpg [/img

I deleted the ] mark on the end of the code so you could see what it looks like in your post before you hit the post button. If I would have left it the picture of the cute young lady would of appeared. :)
