New Sponsor!
« on: May 09, 2006, 09:15:30 pm »
I would say welcome to the new sponsor, but guess what? He's been here awhile and doing things like bidding on auctions and helping folks behind the scenes to support the forestry forum and now, he and his company are helping to support the Forestry Forum by becoming one of our major sponsors! Heck, I'm saying it anyways!

Welcome to:

Motor and Equipment Sales!

And Burlkraft, thank you for bringing your company on as a sponsor of the Forestry Forum!

Folks, Steve's company has a lot of know how and a lot of parts and supplies plus the shops to help fill the needs of a lot of our members and visitors to the Forestry Forum, especially those guys in the process of building thier own equipment or running heavy equipment and trucks down the road.  I want you to all visit thier website (soon to get an update), but I'm going to steal a little content from there to describe some of the things that Eggiman can do for you guys. The following list doesn't even mentioning all the parts they have available
and the fact that Steve is going to be setting up a couple of his key guys to be able to answers and find solutions for the forestry forum membership and its guests.

Be sure to click on the big Logo in this post or Eggiman is always a click away for you over in the left hand Sponsor's column!  Thanks STEVE (Burlkraft) and Thanks again to Eggiman Motor and Equipment Sales Inc!

I wanted to add something. On a personal note when you visit the Eggimann website, take a few minutes to read the about us page. Its interesting and to me, tells a lot about Steve and why he has been such a good fit for us. One word to me.  FAMILY. :)

I've been impressed with Eggiman and its trusted service for the many years I've been in the Madison area, and was surprised when I learned that it was Burlkraft's company at the time I delivered his Alaska Yellow Cedar burls. My meager experience with Eggiman is the very friendly service and help one would get at their counter, and also when delivering parts for repair and picking them up.
Great Company and great service.  Burlkraft was that way too, when I visited his place.
Very good news to hear they are a forum sponsor now.

It's also great that JeffB had the forsight to provide a Forum like this for us to come together and have close contact with these sponsors. Big Welcome to Eggiman.

Steve,

Thank you for being a sponsor  8)

How would a person go about ordering Holland and Buyers (yeah!) products from you? I have wanted the Buyers or Holland swivel pintle hook for a while and had to settle last time on a plain 15T pintle hook because I could not get the swivel one. Just call the 1-800 # with a list of OEM product numbers?

Rebocardo,

We are in the process of making our website more F.F. friendly, you can call the 800 number and ask for parts. Tell them you talked to Steve Beecraft and are a F.F.  member. We will be trying to track the business we do from the forum. I told them at the office to give F.F. members top priority. In the future you will be able to e-mail a machinist, sevice manager, parts person or our hydraulics shop directly.
If anyone has any problems with service until we get the bugs ironed out, please pm me and let me know. I will handle all problems personally. ;D ;D ;D ;D (I hope there are none, but that may not be realistic)
I would like to thank Jeff for all his efforts the past couple of days and I assure you all that we will do our best to live up to all the kind words that Jeff bestowed upon us.

Back to your pintle hook question. I know for sure we would have the Holland hitch in stock and maybe the Buyers. Both are excellent products.

If there is something that you want that you don't see listed on our site, just ask.....we have not done a good job of keeping it updated.....but that will change ;) ;) ;)

I would like to see what you have in the way of hydraulics on your website (when you update it). Cylinders, valves, motors, pressure relief valves, etc... the kind of stuff that home builders would use to build a sawmill. Also if you have chains and sprockets and that sort of thing it would be good to post on your website.

also, the air bags on my F350 leak down after a short while, and when I pressurize them it looks like they may be dry rotted. Are replacement bags available or does one have to replace the whole thing? (has 2 bags).  The switch between the front and rear fuel tanks quit working today :(  looks like I'm going to have to replace that as well. I dont even know where it is located. Is it possible it is a fuse that blew?

Thanks,
Ken

We'll be paying special attention to the hydraulic end, because that is what I thought we could do best at here ;D ;D ;D We do have all the stuff you should need and if we dont, we'll build it.
Our machine shop was started for our truck shop to make parts that we could not find. Now the truck shop has a hard time gettin' anything done in there cuz they are so busy with outside work. There are a lot of guys resurecting old iron these days.

The bags on your truck are available individually. One way to find out exactly is to use soapy water. There is nothin' worse than chasing 1 air leak only to find out that you have  two or more >:( >:(

Is the fuel tank set up factory or aftermarket ??? ??? It should be fused....where it is exactly....I have no idea. If the tanks are across from each other on the frame the valve is usually on the drivers side.....but not always. You'll just have to look around under there. If it was a factory installation the fuse is probablly in the fuse box. Aftermarket....who knows.

It is a factory job. There is a big tank ahead of the rear axel and a smaller tank behind the rear axel. I'm not sure where the fuse would be either or where the switching valve would be.

I'll check with soapy water and see if I can find the leak on the bags.
