As a professional custom sawyer for almost one year I´ve got some stories and hapenings. The last job was for a nice young couple working with horses.
3:rd day the man told me a neighbour had told him that custom sawing with a band mill should be very expensive. -"You´ve better go to the lumberyard and buy what You need and make fire wood of that log pile You have!"
When we rested for coffe I told him about 1:st time I took a look at a mobile band sawmill IRL. A friend of mine went with me and after half an hour he asked me:
-Hey Tore, do You recognize the old man over there?
From the back he looked like every farmer in Småland. When he turned around I said.
-Think I´ve seen him but...........no I don´t.
- Don´t You see? It´s I. K. (The man who started IKEA 60 years ago about 65 miles from here)
- Yes, You´re right Anders, that man IS I.K.!
Told the youg guy that "Tell Your neighbour You are a colleague to Big I.K.

Was there sawing one more week but no one showed up.
