We folks that are building our own mills, especially ones that have never sawed prior to doing so could use ideas.  I'm always looking for the way people raise their sawhead, clamp and rotate the log.  I have enclosed a photo (I hope it shows up) of my first attempt which works pretty well.  I did not come out so well in the lift part.  Anyway, I'd like to see others ideas.
