teeth on every link
« on: December 23, 2005, 04:55:09 pm »
I recall watching a Modern Marvels episode on the history channel about logging.

They were talking about a large machine that grabs trees saws off the bottom, debarks them and cuts them in to log sections in a rapid fashion with a very large chain saw.

They were saying how the chain saw had teeth on every link unlike a "normal" chain saw that has teeth on every other link.

I'm wondering, is it possible to buy a chain that has teeth on every link for a hand held chain saw?

Nope, not unless you had a breaker and spinner and made one yourself out of regular chain.

A few years ago Bailey's sold a tool that was used to cut beams and it had a full house chain that had a tooth on each side of every drive link .  Scott
