Mercury Chainsaw 12HP 2 stroke 60" bar

Came across a mecury piston chain saw 12 hp, 2 stroke, 60" bar.
Thinking about using it to slab large trees. Anyone have any experience with this saw? Currently use a Stihl 066 with 36" bar
and ripping chain on a Alaskan mill  and lumber mate.
Any thoughts? (If I use it for milling I will add the external oiler not sure about the ripping chain - yet).

OK. I scrolled down and saw that someone asked about the same
saw. My intentions are to be able to slab some maples I came across over 48" @ 4ft.  thought this saw could help out. Quoting previous post unstoppable chain - sounds like gobs of torque? I errored in saying it was a 2 stroke its a 2 cylinder. Any guess on RPM  range of such a saw. Probably a Mercury Diston not a Mecury Piston. Seller wants $300 says saw is in perfect condition with new chain. ($300 is 1/4 the way to a 088).

I have an 066 and a Mercury-Diston.  If your Mercury -Diston is like the one in the picture,  I would use the 066.  You can get a longer bar and use skip chain.  You already have the 066.  The old Mercury is ancient,  weighs a ton, you would have trouble getting parts for it.
