You have been referred to me as a source of metal dectetors.  What can you recommend? (Not for treasure hunting, but scrap iron in trees.)  If you wish, you may e-mail me at sthig@charter.net

We have sold a few Detectors to Forum members.

I recommended the Garrett Treasure Ace 200. It is a lower mid-priced machine that is VERY dependable. Easy to operate and still gets decent depth. May not find EVERY bit of metal, but, it won't eat yer pocket up, either.

Haven't sold one for several months, so, let me check with my Son about the price AND Shipping >:(, and I will get back with you on Saturday.

We are leaving early in the morning to go sawing and gather some logs.

Second, it is violently opposed; and
Third, it is accepted as self-evident.
