You recognize a FF Hat from 100 feet away (Maple Flats at Boonville)

when Bibbyman and ARKY become common household terms:
our 3 year old was babbling in the back of the car during our 4 hour ride from NY when he just
started calling out "Bibbyman, Bibbyman"

when the first thing you pack for a show is you FF hat, even before my LogRite apparrel

when you drive by Chet's All You Can Eat restaurant and you wonder how a Yooper has time to run a
restaurant in Herkimer, NY

Weekend Sawyer and Harley's, beagles and Arkansawyer, grandkids and Bibbyman, scientific stuff and Swampdonkey, mechanical marvels and DanG, a head injury and Fla Deadheader, Paschale and symphonies, Tamiam and brownies, School buses and Tammy, Furby and everything, and CK Tate when your mind won't stop working.

Teri and pet grooming, Haytrader and rodeo's, Redpowered blue heelers and newborns, Tom and philosophy with peas, Beenthere and philosophy, Chet and the Amish, Kirk Allen and luck, BuzzSawyer and freedom, Charlie and putting up with Tom, Paul H and Frank Pender north western territories issues, W VA Hillbilly and thoughtfullness, Mountain Jack and huge, Garey D and laughing, Stumpjumpers and syrup. In a category all by itself, Norm and cooking on the grill!

Note: To members who don't know what we're talking about, Patty and I really enjoy 'pretending' to be interested in a car and gettin the salesman all worked up with his plan and at a rock bottom price, then saying, "Nah, I think I can get a better deal."

Did y'all know that on none other than the Today Show on NBC, this very morning, they featured the chef of the world famous restaurant, 21? And what do you think he was having Al Roker help him cook? Yeppers, it was the absolute favorite food of our very own ForestryForum, GGRRIITTSS!

I seen it with my very own eyes, and as CK would say, "That's the truth!" A'course, they went and put all kind of foreign objects in it, like peppers and shrimp and stuff, but they was cookin' GGRRIITTSS right there on national teevee! If'n ya don't bleeve it, go to MSNBC.com and look for yerself!

--when you find yourself trying to explain what this site is like to folks who mistake laminate for real wood, I mean anybody cuz you were so excited to find a place that feels like sittin' at the breakfast counter with eight to nine hundred friends . I find myself drawn to the computer and checking for new posts often, lately I find myself looking at the woods and trees in a totally different manner than I used to, seeking burl, Birdseye and other plant types.

The forum is a great educational resource in itself.
