Beetle Pine
« on: August 10, 2005, 04:12:22 pm »
Cut some standing dead beetle pine today.( my first one)  It was a small one, but what a joy to cut.  I cut some of the lumber I need to build my little kiln and never had to sharpen my chain. 8)

The best thing is that it's pretty dry already and no sap problems ;D

I've got 2 or 3 more standing dead out there, so If it ever stops raining I'll have all the lumber to build my kiln by this weekend.
