Camera Station
« on: July 07, 2002, 05:15:32 pm »

Camera stations are used by wild life biologists to help in their surveys.  These surveys are conducted prior to timber harvest activities in the Sierras as part of the biological assesment for the Environmental Impact Report.

This camera station is part of the Carnivore survey being conducted.  In the light is the bait basket, this one contains a couple of whole chickens.  The bump on the tree to the right is the camera.

Bad picture of the camera.... no I didn't moon the camera... thought about it though. ;D :D
Making Tillamook Bay safe for bait; one salmon at a time.
