Don't get excited.  This ain't a new stumper, but just an update on an old one.  The Chinaberry I posted above has bloomed and I took this shot of the delicate little blossoms.  Purty, ain't they?  The delicate little finger inserted for perspective is one of mine.

This thread seems to be slowing down a little, so I thought I'd add a new picture. The species on the left is homo sapiens var joey; it's the one on the right I'm trying to figure out.

Asy I'm willing to consider an arranged marriage with your gorgeous daughter.

FYI, the tree face on the right is sold as "Kissy Face." "Smiley Face" is to the left out of sight. They were birthday presents for Joey's third. The neighbor put his up last year and Joey got a kick out them.

Also FYI, for those of you worried about tramp metal, I used stainless steel screws that are coming out of the tree when we move to Louisiana at the end of the month. A little something I picked up on the Forestry Forum.

Woodbowl was here yesterday, and he took this shot of some pretty flowers.

I'm sure you all know what they are. ;D  The pic was taken right by my driveway.

Hey sprucebunny, never seen roots do that before when cut. They usually bleed, but that looks likes it's producing some type of pulp. Was it a spruce root?
